Adirondack Shelters

Camp Minsi's Adirondack shelters provide a rustic camping experience for Scouts. The four shelters can hold approximately four Scouts each. The site includes reflector fireplaces, picnic tables, and a nearby latrine facility.

Weytrex Cabin

Weytrex Cabin is a dual-sided cabin facility (with a separate side "A" and a side "B"). Each side sleeps 19 people with bunkbeds and includes a bathroom with a shower. The cabin has wood heat stoves in addition to gas heat and electric lights and receptacles. Kitchen areas include refrigerator/freezer, sinks, stoves, and countertops. Outdoor areas contain fire pits, picnic tables and parking area.

Winter Tents

Camp Minsi's Winter Tents provide a fun winter camping experience. These large, walk-in wall tents sleep 8 Scouts. Each of the six tents is equipped with wood stoves that make the tents cozy even in the coldest weather. Tents are on raised platforms and equipped with bunk beds. The Winter Meal Lodge (the summer nature lodge) is available as a cooking and dining space for units using the Winter Tents.

All-season Tabins  NEW FOR 2015!

Camp Minsi's tabins (tent/cabins) provide a unique camping experience. These hard-wall shelters, with dual-layer canvas roofs sleep 8 Scouts with built-in bunks. Each tabin is equipped with wood stoves that make them warm cozy even in the coldest weather. The Winter Meal Lodge (the summer nature lodge) is available as a cooking and dining space for units using the tabins.

Tabin names include: Iditarod and Unalakleet.

Weygadt Tenting Sites

Camp Minsi has four beautiful lakeside tenting sites. Bring and pitch your own tents in the clear and grassy tenting area. The sites include fire rings, picnic tables, and a nearby latrine facility.

Site names include: Arrow Island, Indian Head, Mt. Tammany, and Kittatinny Ridge.

Troop Campsites

Camp Minsi has 10 large summer camp troop sites located in central camp. Bring and pitch your own tents; each site includes fire rings, picnic tables, and latrine facilities (water is available year-round, but it is turned off in the sites from mid-October through mid-April). Due to the rocky terrain of many of the sites, you may need to pitch your tents on, or near, the tent platforms; the summer camp canvas wall-tents (with cots) are set-up and usable in the site from May to June.

Site names include: Mohican, Tuscarora, Iroquois, Mohawk, Onondoga, Oneida, Cayuga, Seneca, Lenape, and Shawnee.
