Merit Badge Counselor Information
Who are Merit Badge counselors? Counselors are registered volunteers who teach topics that interest them. They are well versed in the subjects that they teach and are great mentors for interested Scouts. A Scout will work with his counselor to learn more about the Merit Badge in question and demonstrate what he has learned back to his counselor.
- As a general rule, you as the Scout are responsible for contacting your counselor.
- The Buddy System requires at LEAST THREE people present at a Merit Badge session. This could be another Scout, a parent, or a friend. Keep this in mind while scheduling with your counselor.
- For the counselors' convenience, all of the lists below are password protected. Interested Scouts need to contact their Unit's Scoutmaster & Advancement Chairman, as both should have this information.
Please note: Merit Badge counselors must be registered with Minsi Trails Council!
Please note: All Merit Badge Counselor lists have been updated with counselors who are current in Youth Protection Training. Please be sure to check the current lists.
