"Deck the camp with Scouting spirit. Fa la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la..."

Come out to Camp Trexler in Jonas, PA for our annual holiday extravaganza full of Scouting fun!

We'll have wagon rides, wreath making, homemade ornaments, crafts, gifts, photos with Santa, holiday treats, warm fires, festive music, caroling, hot cocoa, fellowship and much more!

Bring your troop, pack, patrol, den, crew, or family. All Scouts, Scouters and their friends and families are welcome!

Event costs $10 per person; includes a holiday patch for each participant, a gift from Santa, craft supplies, and access to wagon rides and all other programs. Lunch food (hotdogs, grilled cheese, chips, sodas, etc.) and printed photos with Santa will be sold separately.

Please do your best to pre-register your attendance in advance so we can be prepared for the day with the proper craft supplies and staff.

Events & Activities Include:

- Welcome Center at the Camp Trexler Nature Lodge -
The Nature Lodge will be the main hub for the day; including check-in, general information, camp promotions, restrooms, warming up, and food & gifts available for purchase. You can also check out the elaborate holiday train displays with Ranger Don's model railroad.

- Christmas Craft Center at the Akelaland Dining Hall -
We'll have festive crafts, traditional wreath making, ornament making, card making and more! Staff will be on hand to guide you through creating a variety of holiday activities and projects.

- Santa's Cabin at Windy Knob -
Santa Claus will be at camp for this event! If you'd like photos with Santa, and a gift from Jolly Ol' St. Nick himself, stop on by Windy Knob!

- Santa's Workshop at Memorial Lodge -
Santa's helpers will be on hand to help Scouts build their gift from Santa in his pop-up workshop in Memorial Lodge! We'll have the fireplace roaring as you build your kits. Outside we'll have a campfire where Scouts can brand some wooden ornaments.

- Ranger Don's Polar Express Wagon -
Tractor rides in our covered wagons will be going on to take you all around camp to each area. Join our camp staff along the way for camp info, camp cheers, plus festive songs and caroling!

- Service to Our Community -
As Scouts we want to take this opportunity to also help serve our community. We ask that each family bring a non-perishable food item (canned or boxed good) to donate to our local Scouting for Food partners and food pantries. We will also be making cards and ornaments for the elderly and shut-ins which will be distributed to local nursing homes and care providers to help spread the holiday and Scouting sprit with others.

- Competitions & Games -
We'll have a variety of fun games and contests going on throughout the day too! Including a holiday scavenger hunt Bingo plus special raffles with cool prizes.
