Do you have a Scout who is completing Kindergarten this year, join us this summer for the Great Tiger Adventure!

Come experience a fun-filled time at camp.  Scouts will get a shorter taste of summer camp with swimming, archery, BB guns, and other activities.  Meals are provided in our dining hall for Friday only.  Tiger Scouts must attend with a parent or guardian.  Siblings and additional parents may attend for an additional cost, but the program will be focused on the Tiger Scouts.  You may stay in our canvas wall tents which each hold two people, have a wooden floor and cots.

Overall costs;

  • $80.00 Youth/Adult
  • $40.00 Additional Adult
  • $40.00 Additional Youth 5 and over
  • Free Youth 4 and under

Check in for the event runs from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Health Lodge just inside Akelaland.  Your individual schedule will be available at check in.  Please let us know if you need to check in later.  Scouts may also attend for Friday only, but the cost is the same.  Check-in for day only participants is from 7:30-8:00 am in the dining hall.  Please email us at akelaland@minsitrails.org prior to June 25th if you have any special dietary needs.  Saturday morning is relaxed, and Scouts may pack up and head out any time before 10:30 am.

 

What to Bring

  • BSA Medical form parts A&B for both adults & children
  • Pillow & Sleeping bag (or blankets)
  • Clothes for the weather
  • Clothes to sleep in
  • Extra socks & underwear
  • Sturdy shoes or boots
  • Flashlight
  • Toothbrush & toothpaste
  • Raincoat or poncho
  • Water bottle

Optional Extras

  • Fishing pole & gear
  • Small backpack or waist pack
  • Camp Chair
  • Bible, Prayer Book, or devotional
  • Money for the trading post & snacks
