Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS)
This is the second of the courses required to be taken to be considered "trained" for the positions of Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster.
Tentative course structure:
There will be virtual learning (approx. 2 hours per week) leading up to the in-person practical session. TBD. Virtual learning will be comprised of large group (live), small group (live) and individual learning (pre-recorded) sessions. The in-person sessions will include overnight tent camping, which is required for course completion.

Where: Camp Minsi, 106 Camp Minsi Rd, Pocono Summit, Pa 18346
Why: Complete course requirements, learn something and have some fun

There will be a virtual learning session on September 28th 7pm-8:30pm. Virtual learning will be comprised of large group and small group sessions. Individual learning (pre-recorded) sessions will be required to complete the course. The in-person sessions will include overnight tent camping, which is required for course completion.
The cost of the course is $35 per person ( $25 if registered before July 15 ) which includes two nights of camping as part of the in person, outdoor portion of this course.
No youth will be allowed at the course.
Participants will need to complete and provide a copy of their BSA medical form parts A/B. Click here for Medical form
