ABOUT THE COURSE: The goal of the BSA Outdoor Ethics Orientation Course is to introduce the concept of Outdoor Ethics (Leave No Trace, Tread Lightly!, and the Land Ethic) to a group with little experience in outdoor ethics in a fun and engaging way. It should help youth and adults at all program levels understand the general principles behind Scouting’s outdoor ethics program. Completing this course is one of the requirements for earning the Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award and/or the Outdoor Ethics Action Award. Unit leaders, by encouraging your youth to participate in this course allows you complete requirement 7 for the Outdoor Ethics Action Award FORMAT: Virtual. Each participant must attend the full session to receive credit
COST: $5.00 per person includes certificate card and recognition
