“Tall Ship Experience – what’s that?
It’s the big trip final day of the Sea Scout and Venturing Academy. It is available to attendees of the Officers’ Orientation as a pre-event option. The experience includes:
- Kalahari’s Gorilla Grove’s high ropes course of 60+ elements and 2 parallel ziplines is our substitute for climbing the riggings and zipping between the masts of tall ships!
- Pocono Whitewater’s raft trip down the Lehigh River rounds out the day. Bouncing down the whitewater is the closest we have to ocean wave’s up in the Pocono Mountains!
